The idea for Full Price Shirts began during a conversation with my cousin about inflation. I joked that companies were raising prices because they only valued themselves. While I knew that wasn’t entirely true, the thought lingered. I said, half-seriously, that I was going to make everyone “pay” full price for my time, presence, and the energy I give. My cousin and I laughed, but as the conversation continued, the idea started to take on a deeper meaning.

That moment inspired me to create my first shirt. It featured the phrase Full Price on the front with a simple design, and the words No Discount Here on the back. Though I only printed one, the concept began to represent something powerful in my mind—the birth of an idea.

As I reflected on what it meant to live life full price, I realized it could be an empowering statement—one rooted in self-worth, self-value, and self-respect. It could mean different things to different people. For me, it symbolized a new mindset. I had often struggled to feel seen, valued, or heard, despite knowing my own strengths. This philosophy of “living full price” started to evolve into something much bigger—a potential movement, even a way of life.

Eventually, I secured a website name and began developing the idea further. Over the next few years, I wrote down messages of positivity, humor, and social commentary. Then, I finally created the flagship shirt that embodied my vision. Once that design was complete, I launched the website.
